Shakira at Arco Arena!

Shakira is amazing and her concert is the best concert I've ever been to! She's truly inspiring! I love her passion and hard work. She's just so amazing!

We waited for 2hours but when she finally came out in this pink puff, it was all worth it. She started her concert sounding angelic!

Unlike many artists who can't perform live, her voice was just amazing! She's even better than her recordings!

I wish I could document all her outfits and props...unfortunately, the stadium crew were really strict about no taking pictures.

She literally sang and dance for 2.5hrs straight. Is that why she has those hard rock abs?

After she left at the end of the show, people cheered on for an encore. She came back out wearing a beautiful blue gown and it started snowing inside the stadium. It was so beautiful! She ended up singing 4 more songs! She loves us!

I seriously think that everyone should go see her at least once. Bring your mom, grandma.... She's just so worth it! Can't wait for her new album to come out!

Getting ready for Shakira Shakira!

After hours and hours of house chores and laundry, I finally convinced the bf that I deserve Shakira tickets! We got them from a local mom through Craigslist the night before the concert. Yayyyy!

When I found out we're going, I had to stop by ff21 to grab an outfit. I was so excited, I couldn't stop talking to the associates that were working. Picked out this shirt for only $13!!!! If you want it, here's the link. (Its random but did you know that the model wearing the shirt is Nicole Linkletter? She's from ANTM cycle 5.)

All the ruffles on my shirt. I noticed that this style top is complimentary to my body type. It gives the illusion that I got some front! lol It's also a great shirt for one of those days you want to look dressy but be comfortable at the same time.

Leaving the house finally!

Tuli Delicious!

After having lame food on Sat, I was determined to find something great the next day to compensate for our disappointment. After reading reviews after reviews on Yelp, I decided to take the bf to Tuli's. Its a chef owned restaurant that serves contemporary American cuisine so their menu is different all the time; I was ready to be wow!

For starters, we ordered mussels with a rich flavorful parsley and beacon sauce. It was so good, we had to soak it up with extra bread!

Ky ordered steak with fries. He ordered medium. I always recommend ordering rare at a fine dinning restaurant because its fun for the chef.

I got the beef stroganoff pasta and every bite was heavenly! Lol I took the left over home and my bf stole it for lunch the next day...

To top off the awesomeness, we got the last slice of semifrido with hazelnuts. This was the pieced that reminded me of Boston the most. Ahhhhh I miss all the good food in good O'Beantown. =(

Ky is ready to dig in... noticed lately he looks surprised all the time!

Look who I found on Charlie's Angels!

It's Kim Cattrall!! OMG She's soooo classy! Its funny but I didn't appreciate her character on Sex on the City till recently...

I was so inspired, I even asked Michelle to do a 70's make up tutorial... ps, that girl on the bottom is kinda scary...

Temple Coffee House

Here's the cafe Ky and I try to go to every Sunday morning for their secret banana bread. They usually hide it in the back kitchen and doesn't display it in their bakery showcase. The texture is amazing with chucks of banana that melt in your mouth. Not too greasy buttery at all and filled with fresh walnuts! Next time we get a piece, I'll be sure to take a pic of it!

My favorite drink from Temple Coffee is their Thai ice tea. Cafes in California often offer Asian style drinks. They make them pretty good. Not too sweet, not too creamy, just right.

Here's a closer look at the extra spices they put on their Thai ice coffee. Its probably a mixture of cinnamon and tea leaves... Oh gosh, I'm drooling already!
